Stirk House Hotel overlooks the historic Ribble Valley in the heart of rural Lancashire. It offers an award-winning restaurant. The building still retains a magnificent stone-arched fireplace original ceilings and a priest hole. The hotel’s restaurant has won an AA Rosette and has views of the conservatory area and beautiful hotel grounds. It serves home-cooked food made from local ingredients and offers an extensive wine list and a range of real ales. All of the bedrooms have work areas TVs and tea and coffee-making facilities. Golf fishing and hot air ballooning are all available in the Ribble Valley. The 12th-century Clitheroe Castle is 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel and the Yorkshire Dales can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
