This elegant medieval manor house has 3 acres of walled gardens and is located just off the A14 3 miles from Stowmarket. The ancient village of Haughley has been listed as a site of national importance by English Heritage. Home-grown vegetables fruits from the orchard and eggs from Haughley House’s own hens are used to prepare delicious breakfasts. High-quality local meats are used to prepare evening meals and the menu also includes homemade canapés. Guests can enjoy drinks in the oak-panelled drawing room or the cosy sitting room. Afternoon tea is available either inside or in the pretty garden where there is also a croquet lawn that you are free to use. Rooms are in the oldest part of Haughley House and all benefit from free Wi-Fi an en suite bathroom and picturesque views. A TV and tea and coffee making facilities can be provided if you wish.
